@hollyarcher Still haven’t fully processed the weekend… because honestly, where do you even start? 🫣 So many of you are being way too hard on yourselves about your times, and trust me, I’m right there too. I didn’t even come close to what my training predicted. But you know what? That’s not the full story. There were so many wins that no finish time could take away. ✨My first ever marathon (!!!) ✨My first time running over 22 miles (and yes, I felt every single one of them) ✨I had the wonderful Sam by my side, a human angel who I will genuinely never forget ✨Actual decent weather(okay maybe not), but no rain, no wind, just a bit of @kipchogeeliud smoke 💨 ✨For 30km, I was averaging 5:53/mile… and then, well, let’s just say the wheels got a little wobbly. Clearly, if I’m ever reckless enough to sign up again, the second half of the race is where the work needs to happen. Right now, the time on the clock doesn’t even matter. Because this was about so much more: crossing the line, learning, laughing, swearing, nearly crying, and still moving forward. 💕Thank you to everyone who’s messaged, supported, and laughed/cried along the way. ☀️Find the good, in the good!!
